Hello everyone.
Today, I'd like to share a personal story—one that has stayed with me throughout my career in executive management and leadership.
“Don't worry, do something!”
This simple but powerful advice came from my English teacher when I was studying at a language school in Birmingham, UK.
At that time, I was struggling with English listening. No matter how much I studied, I felt my listening skills were not improving fast enough.
One day, I shared my frustration with my teacher:
“I worry that my listening may never improve…”
She smiled and replied:
“Don't worry. Do something!”
At that moment, it sounded almost too simple.
But years later—working in international business and management—I realized how profound that advice truly was.
Leaders often worry too much
Many business leaders spend excessive time worrying:
Is this the perfect plan
What if it fails
What will others think
But progress rarely comes from worrying.
It comes from taking action, even if the action is small.
A lesson that stayed with me
That short sentence from my teacher in Birmingham has stayed with me for decades.
Whenever I face uncertainty, I remind myself:
Don't worry. Do something.
Action creates clarity. Action creates momentum. And action creates improvement.
So, my message today is simple
Don't worry—just do something. Even a small step will move you forward.
